About RCDU

Community leadership with a practical heart.

RCDU exists to help vulnerable communities rebuild dignity, opportunity, and hope through locally led development.

Our history

Founded to respond to visible community needs.

Rebuild Community Development Uganda was established in Luuka Town Council after community leaders observed recurring challenges affecting children, youth, women, and vulnerable households: school dropout pressures, limited livelihood skills, health information gaps, food insecurity, and families struggling after crisis.

RCDU was founded to bring organized, compassionate, and accountable support closer to the people. Its work is rooted in listening to communities, identifying practical priorities, and mobilizing local and external support for sustainable change.
